Lago di Como is the third biggest Italian lake, and it is well known all over the world for its beautiful and romantic spots, the dazzling landscapes and its castles and luxurious houses, which makes it the perfect destination for couples, either for an elopement, a wedding or a post wedding or regular couple photo shoot.
Next to the border with Switzerland, its geographical setting and mild climate makes it a perfect destination for couples all over the globe to plan a destination wedding or elopement by the lake. You don't even need to pay for a villa (which is indeed a great option for a conventional wedding), even by the shore of the lake you can still achieve a wonderful atmosphere for your pictures.
Maria and Antonio had their wedding some time ago, but they did not make anything special out of it, so they were willing to have an occasion from which they could bring home some memories and celebrate their love. This post wedding photoshoot in Lake Como apparently met their expectations.
Maria's hair and make up were done by the amazing MUAH artist Flor Bustos. Her jewels were from Lady Schmuck, who provides handcrafted bridal decorations, and are made in Switzerland. The dress was from Zolotas, a greek bridal atelier which creations are handmade in Greece with organic cotton, and combine a boho style line with greek traditions in a beautiful way.
